Day 1

12pm

Start your Mystery Guides adventure

Your mystery begins…outside the Lord Nelson Inn

A traditional pub that opened in the 1850s (please be aware the pub opens at 12pm).

Clues 1 - 10: Good Things Come To Those Who Wait

In the first half of your adventure, you'll discover North Laine, The Royal Pavilion and the Pier. Test your luck in Brighton's famous arcade sat atop the pier. The first machine games were bought to the pier in 1905 and delighted customers with palm reading and punch ball. Towards the end of the pier are a collection of rollercoasters and rides, the first of which to arrive were the dodgems just before WW2.

Take a Break!

Beneath the comfort of the Druid's Head lies a series of secret tunnels that have supposedly been used for hundreds of years by smugglers and even for undercover royal encounters. But what are they hiding?

Clues 11-16: Who Goes There?

In the second part of your adventure, you'll discover The Lanes, Wykeham Terrace and St Nicholas Church. Local legend says, that if you stand in the church grounds on the 17th May you may catch a glimpse of the ghost ship - St Nicholas Galley…

4pm (approx.)

Your mystery ends…on Surrey Street
