    History, mystery and fun!

I've done other walks and treasure trails, but I still learnt some fascinating facts. I loved the clues, some of them were quite cryptic and you had to think outside the box. It's a really well put together book and treasure hunt. Great for spending time and working together.

    A perfect pastime

This was a great way to spend a few hours. We loved the look and straightforward layout of the hunt that took us round a very attractive route. The interesting facts were a bonus adding the ideal amount of detail between clues.

The Story:

‘The Golden Barrel Cup’ was a unique football tournament founded in 1976 by the country’s top 16 breweries, as a bet to see who had the strongest and most athletic workforce. After a gruelling round of knockout matches, the last two breweries competing for the coveted trophy were Barely Hop Rovers, and their arch rivals, Red Stag Athletic. However, shortly after the final whistle things quickly turned sour, when players returning to the dressing room were shocked to discover that someone had got there first, and tipped over their special barrel of golden ale!

Why would someone want to sabotage the event and spill the golden brew? You must look back at the legendary final, solve the clues hidden in the commemorative bottle labels, and finally unmask the guilty suspect behind the mysterious ale spillage!
